This project was about how we had to Design and build a paper car that will carry in its cargo two glue sticks (taped together) the longest distance from a twenty-inch long ramp. The ramp was set at an angle of 30 degrees. The restraints were
1. You may NOT use the glue stick it is only for cargo purposes.
2. You may not use fire or water.
3. All materials will be provided. No other materials will be allowed.
4. Maximum length – 8 inches.
5. Maximum width – 3 inches.
6. MUST have two working axels.
7. Must have more than two separate wheels.
8. Glue sticks must be removable – it may not be tied in any way to the car.
9. Cars, which fail to meet the specific regulations, will be disqualified.
The way we went about winning the competition and having the record setting car was by attaching the rubber band to the ramp to propel the car forward.
